There is a rodeo held in the Wales each year. Using ponies off the mountains great big 'brave' men jump on the ponies and the 'audience' bet on who will win...sickening. emw.

I cant watch all of that 1st one, I felt sick. So not watching the others. Why do people think this is acceptable and why would they do it? Sick, the lot of them!

The video made me feel sick. As EMW says, there are rodeo's going on in this country. Tiny section A's are dragged off the mountains to be put into a crush and then 'ridden' about by some fat drunk. Anyone can put there name down to join in. !! They are usually incorporated into an agricultural show.!!

often with rodeo videos they speed them up to make the animals look more out of controll..
the 'wild horse race' makes me feel sick..
why pull the horses head into the gate?
why brutally buck the spirit out of them?
why make them give up?
So many say it isnt cruel.. how is trying to break in a wild horse using ropes, punches and kicks not cruel?

well, I've always had a desire to meet a cowboy and live the cowboy life. Whilst staying with my American friends a couple of weeks ago my friend Mike kept saying "Wendy I know you and you dont wanna be with a cowboy" This has just confirmed it, how many macho assholes does it take to terrify a horse until it cant move out of fear and shock. I was supposed to be going to a rodeo next year when I go over, I had naively not thought it would be this brutal. I'm appalled at what I''ve just seen and needless to say I wont be going. I now understand why he kept insisting that 'cowboys' were brutal 'God fearing ' hypocrits .

God! I had no idea it was like that,I thought that sort of thing only went on behind closed doors, not for the publics delight. I only watched the first vid, that was quite horrific enough. I always thought that the very concept of rodeos was not a nice one,but this? in a so called civilised society? Just beggars belief really. Makes me realise what a lovely guy monty must be to work horses the way he does when he was presumably surrounded by a**holes like that. Cant we at least get it banned in wales?had no idea about that either.sick, just sick.
