Fiona at Tower Hill Stables (www.towerhillstables.com) can take a french horse from www.equinesection.com but she can only put £100 towards a horse. would anyone be interested in donating money to her, to help her buy a horse? She would probably take the old mare or maybe the old stallion if he could be gelded as they don't really seem to have much of a chance of getting a home.

i am sorry but if you can only afford 100.00 towards the horse you shouldn,t really be bringing one over the vet fees alone for a healthcheck are over that once the horse hits this country

Well I'm sure most people can afford to look after their horses but cannot make around £1,000 appear unfortunatly. Just because she can't afford to buy a horse straight away doesn't mean she can't look after them.

Its great that your friend wants to rescue a horse but if she cant buy it then she shouldn't do it. what if the horse has health problems and needs the vet alot and shes short of cash? There are lots of horses in this country that are desperate for help and wouldn't cost so much.

Funds are scarce for rescue centres, so I can see why Fiona needs help with funding for taking one of these horses from France. Tower Hill provides the best of care for all their animals
