Massive nervous morning. No idea.... well, I did have coffee yesterday, something that is a firm no-no for me and takes me off into la-la land for days. Rode in the field. Cantered and sat bucks- oooh! Here they are relaxing and dreaming of urgent love after the ride. Bidi-bum, pie companion, is in season. Blue is the grey, 5 year old connie, 15.2 trouble-maker that has me on the DG!

Aaaah lovely pic they both look so well & the weather looks good too, lucky you it's freezing & windy here Another good ride then & well done for sitting the bucks! That's one thing I'm nervous of after getting bucked off trying out a western treeless on my blue a wee while ago. Whilst I know it was just the saddle(hasn't done it since) my heart still flutters getting on & then I'm fine Horses who'd hav em eh? The answer is me me me even tho I'm nervous at times the good fully outweighs the bad

Well, I'm beginning to think I will have to learn how to sit the occasional buck Angblue... they were bounces, nothing serious. Bidi's in season, and he's a bit... ehem... pert!

It's poison... actually I would strongly urge anyone on the board to give up stimulants if they have a confidence issue, it plays havoc with your mind. I had no idea what a bad tempered cow I could be when stressed and when I was on coffee. My husband let me know, and has praised me madly for almost kicking the habit. I don't smoke or drink, but coffee is a drug for me.

Well done for sitting the bucks out Kanga. Bobby is currently lame :-( Think he has tweaked himself in the new summer field, or it is just the hills which have strained him a bit. Appears to be in the gluteal muscle area. Got our fab Bowen lady coming out tomorrow, sure he'll be as right as rain after that. He's not limping as such, but just noticeably stiff on his off hind. BUT I have a RWYM lesson booked for tomorrow am, which I am going to have on Clover instead! She is such a good girlie I don't have a second's nerves on her, bless her heart.
Love the piccie of lovestruck Blue and his lovely companion. (Who I am afraid will always be known as Honey to me Kanga)! x

Have a great time Casper. Poor Bobby... it's funny how you just get a feel for when they are uncomfortable. Just sent my saddle for stretching at the points and re-flocking... the bill will be terrifying I'm sure, but Blue's back is sore in that saddle.

Yes, he is beautiful. And a connie...if/when you decide to jump, you are gonna do it really well!
Lol about the coffee, I am just the same. Used to drink tons of the stuff, black. Gave it up and hardly touch caffeine at all now (besides the odd coffee at the yard, and vrb when out, which is rare). When I do have some, I realise just what potent, crazy stuff it is. Scary!
Oh and well done for sitting the bucks and not letting them bother you. Respect! Glad you are getting saddle fixed, I suspect the bucks will go away afterwards. My lad used to buck loads in canter when I first had him and was riding in a (horrible) borrowed saddle. Disappeared as soon as he got his own.
