Does anyone know of any farm rides / XC rides / Pleasure rides etc in North west area. Am in Merseyside, so anything in Lancashire or Cheshire?

Many of the rides are shut at present due to wet ground. It is too early for the cross country competitions - these usually happen late March/April. I assume you know of Somerford Park (Congleton) and Kelsall Hill - both have excellent xc courses and farm rides. Others include:
Raby Farm UK Chasers xc/ride (Raby, Wirral) Hadley Farm x/c - Near Whitchurch (Cheshire/Shrops border) X/C course at Weetwood Grange (Kelsall). Smallwood x/c (Smallwood, Cheshire)
I have the phone numbers for most of these at home, so let me know if you are interested. I think if you "google" them you will find that a few have web sites. Several of the above venues have competitions run there by various riding/pony clubs and BE.

A really good one I have been to is the Craven Farm Ride, it's just over the border in Yorkshire, but well worth a visit - they have their own website. Think it's a UK Chasers course, but don't quote me on that!
