RIGHT ;D im NOT making plans cos plans are bad.... BUUUT im HOPING to show Ori next year. She is Anglo Arab and will be 2 in April. She is eligible for grading with Sports Horse Society in the future. Her relatives are all top eventers or HOYs horses so I figure we should give showing a bash. I am going to take her to some local ones with the hope of getting her to maybe county level if she is calm and good enough. I live near Salisbury, Wilts. When and where are the good shows as I found many too late this year. I know Ellingham and Romsey (Aug and Sept) Also - classes.... Part bred arab? Youngstock? Potential sports horse? she is going to make at LEAST 16.2hh Pics from last week

New Forest and Newbury. Not a showing bod, so no idea what she would be, but if you decide you don't like her, I'll have her ;D

Anglo and PB classes, and Hacks or Riding Horse classes depending on her height at 2 . She's starting to look really lovely.

Practically every County Show has Anglo and PB classes, Hacks / Riding Horses less, but still a fair few. plus NPS summer Champs and Ponies UK Summer Champs. PUK also has a Southern show at Newbury in May You need the show editions of H&H next March, which will tell you nearly every show

Oh she's lovely! Yes NPS and PUK are both Showing Societies, they both have a big Summer Champs show and affilliated shows hold their qualifiers. Not sure about NPS but PUK you can do the class without being a member and then if you qualify you need to join within a certain time period

How about the Wessex Arab Group shows? They are fairly close to you and have 3-4 shows a year, they have classes for PBA and Anglos. Their Autumn show is this Sunday, so a bit late for you now. You don't need to be a member to enter and they have a website (if you didn't already know). In recent years they have been holding the Caronjoy, Arlington Grove and Blantyre Park shows at Mayhill stud in Hampshire which usually have Arab and Anglo and PB classes although they haven't been well supported of late. Good luck with your filly she looks lovely.
