Hi, well i don't no if you all remember but i had been asked to compete for my riding club in the Riding club inter Dressage champs at badminton. I also did an individual Novice test as well. I had a few reservations but went ahead with it. Basically my horse has just turned 6 years old. The Riding club Championships and the individual tests at Badminton are run on Grass. My horse had never been ridden at a comp on grass. The 2nd thing was an overnight stay at a local yard. Anyway he was tense in the stable the next morning but OK. Loaded and of we went. He was brilliant in the 20+ acre warm up Field no problems at all. We then went in for the Individual Novice test and got 70.5% we won and got a bag of Badminton horse feed. We then did the team test and the team came 4th out of 9 teams so another Rosette!! I'm very proud of my boy to say the least. He was so big and brave and put his all into it. I couldn't of asked for more, i didn't expect a win. ;D ;D Where now looking forward to the BD regional championships. Pics to follow when Ive downloaded of camera. Here are some of the Photos. I do have loads but i have an issue with my Broadband speed atm so it taking forever to upload them to photo bucket. Hope you like!! Warm Up waiting to go in!! i73.photobucket.com/albums/i226/peskired/IMG_1836.jpgDown the Centre Line!! i73.photobucket.com/albums/i226/peskired/b96e4f0e.jpgi73.photobucket.com/albums/i226/peskired/IMG_1850.jpgi73.photobucket.com/albums/i226/peskired/IMG_1889.jpgMe and my horse had such a wonderful time there i will remember it forever.
