Speck won her 1st ribbon at a small local show at the week end ;D All we were asked to do was walk, stand and trot, all of which she did beautifully.......but...... she could have done soo much more like shoulder in, leg yielding at walk and trot etc. I'm not that good at riding, bit of chicken, and speck is a very forward going horse, also she was a bit of a rescue project, so I did a lot of ground work with her and she is sooooo quick and willing to learn (and teach me!) Are there any classes at shows where you can show how clever your horse is at ground work? How about a dressage test in hand ......or at liberty? Please reply as I'm new to this, and would love to get some feedback

You can do the Saddle Up video dressage competition in-hand - freestyle, to music. Dressed up or whatever!

The only class I can think of is handy pony, but not quite what you are after, lol! Never seen in-hand dressage before at a show.

yes you can do it from Oz - you just have to put a vid of your test up online... or send in a DVD or video Look on www.Saddle-up.org.uk/forums - under the Dressage forum - all details there. Hurry though, as pre-entries (paypal payment?) have to be in by 14th July!
