How exciting to see you all again. Tried to email you today ps but it came back undeliverable? We will see you at Cheshire - did you manage to qualify RI - or is it straight to HOYs for you?

Ah well.....yet another 2nd in our last RI...to a pony who hadn't qualified. How Katy would love a Hoys ticket!!! BUT Ollie has qualified for RIHS....as a SHP!!! Thinks he is really something now!! So we are Hickstead bound, after all! Doing 2 classes...and wont be "leaving the ground". I wonder if Katy had the worst "runner up-itis"in th RI's this year? She has been runner up to "the ticket" on at least 5 occasions!!! I'm sure Mouse will enjoy a few days in the field though! Sorry you couldn't get through on email (seems to be ok?). We'll be making the journey south in our new (to us), bigger lorry. Allan passed his HGV last week....doing mine next month!!! Don't know why we bother with Cheshire...been 3 times and never had a good day yet!!! Better pack a good picnic so there is something to look forward to. See you then!!!

Ooh I wont be there wednesday, got to work or i would be! good luck!
ps - do you think studs will be needed for the relay? As I really dont like my stud guard its really big and heavy, and most of the time we dont use studs as most of our comps are on a surface. Also any more info about the relay would be great as DC hasnt said much!

Def studs!! The main arena can be quite slippy!! Hope they may have found a better route to lead you all there. We had to go round the back of a bouncy castle/'catering tent etc. The journey there was almost more exciting than the relay!!! Hope you enjoy it & good luck. When we did the relay it was def. on the Wednesday (pony day).....shame it is Tues!!

We are taking our stallion for the HOYs qualifier and our new boy (will post details later) was sold with entries so he is going in the Sec D inhand. We will be there on the Wednesday if anyone wants to meet up and have a coffee & chin wag.

Hiya its two days, tuesday and wednesday.
Unfortunately I had to pull out of Cheshire show, as didnt realise quite how mad the class is! Heard of various people its nuts with a lot of going flat out, and as I work at getting pony jumping steady and calm, I really dont think its fair to ask him to do such a conflicting event as this. going to watch though and may well do Nantwich if it doesnt look to mad, just a bit scared of the unknown really and Im only used to show jumping and the odd bit of Xc so feel awful to let team down but they can use reserve no problem, and rather that than scare or spoil pony as hes doing so fabby at moment!
Good luck to all going.
