DIY/Grass livery wanted for two mares (14.1hh & 15hh) and two miniature Shetlands. All live out 24/7 all year round, so we don't need stables, but shelter is a must. Hardstanding for tying up/grooming etc would be a bonus, as would somewhere to park the car. Preferably with on-site water source. Safety and security are of paramount importance. We don't mind having to do some tidying up of field/fences, and are happy to help with any maintenance. We would prefer to be sole occupants, but aren't totally adverse to sharing, in which case we would be more than happy to assist with other horse/s. We are looking for somewhere as close as possible to Harvel/Meopham/Stanstead/Trottiscliffe in Kent. Do you have, or know someone who has, something that might be suitable? PLEASE contact us - we need to find our horsey family a new home as soon as possible! 07852 300273

Have you tried the equestrian centres and larger riding schools around there for grass livery?

Lucitania Don't really have large eq. centres or riding schools close to us. The nearest riding school takes DIY liveries at an extortionate rate, and with very little turnout - so no good for me! Thanks for the suggestion though!!

Shame- my local (large) riding school do a grass livery, which means out 24/7 and includes access to the yard with all the facilities. I thought other places might do the same. Try tack shops and farm centres and ask around if any farms might rent a field or two. Some of the farm rentals around here seem to go word of mouth and don't get advertised, you see.
