My 10 yo 16h TB gelding and my friends Welsh 14h 2 ish gelding are looking for places at a DIY yard that is able to offer assistance. They are both well mannered chaps who are currently in gelding only paddocks but have in the past been out in mixed herds.
Our requirments
- within a 5/10 mile radius of Bishops Waltham, Hampshire
- my chap can only be worked in a surfaced school which ideally would be flood lit, he can be lightly hacked so bridleways/off road hacking close by would be fantastic
- my friends chap is a recovering laminitic (sp) and requires restricted grazing
- we would like to bring are own hay so ample storage would be a must
- turning out/bringing in help required by us both as i can be required to work odd hours (Mon- Fri) and my friend does day and late shifts, we are happy to pay a reasonable fee for the services
- must be allowed own vet/farrier/dentist
- we may consider part livery but only if reasonable rates
Sorry to go on but i think that is about it, we are looking for a friendly yard that doesn't have too much going on as our chaps are used to a quiet yard.
