I am looking for a kitten to complete our little family. I'm on holiday mid-June so it would need to be ready at the beginning of July. I'd love a grey one but all colours considered and I'm not fussy about breed. It would be better to be near Northamptonshire but I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance to come and see it.
We have no children or dogs and i've years of cat experience.
If you know of any available please let me know.

I've just asked a friend - she has 3, but they all have homes. However another friend of there's has 7 to home! So will post details when I know more - no idea on age or anything.

Cat rescues are overflowing at this time of year. I'm planning to increase my family in June, too. I have two weeks off end of June -beginning of July, so plan to do it then. I'm visiting one of the local rescues (don't know which one, yet!) with an open mind. May get an adult and a kitten, may get two kittens, may get two adults.....as long as I don't come back with about 10 I think I'll be happy! ;D
Don't know what sex or colour I'll end up with yet, but if there's a black and white one, it'll be called Sweep II (after my kitty who went missing).

When we were looking for kittens there were none around - there were lots of year old cats around however so we took on two of those.
sh - there is a grey and white one, 2 days old right now so won't be going anywhere for a while!
They are in Luton:-)

We've got one little sweetie - 8 days old, but i'm afraid she's staying here with her mum.

Well our little cat is due to give birth any day now, so we will be looking for good homes for all but the one that we will keep, she is a gorgeous very soppy chocolate short haired moggy. She likes to help muck out in the mornings, regularly comes on our dog walks, loves going in the car and the horsebox, so hopefully the kittens will be like their mum!!

She sounds lovely. I have two male cats at my dad's house who are very affectionate and funny but I had to leave hem there as they're brothers and one of them is very nervous when moved and we didn't want to risk it.
Please keep me informed about the little sweeties. We're decorating our house at the mo so it wouldn't be fair to have one while we have ladders and pots of paint everywhere (although it could be intersting!) Should be finsihed in a few weeks tho, just intime for the new arrival!
Where abouts are you?
