Hiya can anyone help me, I'm looking to transport my yearling to her new owner before the end of May (Bank Holiday weekend) - the journey is from Stansted Essex to Powys Wales
I've seen adverts for transporters in H&H etc but didn't know if anyone had any recomendations or knew of someone going that way to share a journey?

Wiltshire Horse Transport did a good job fetching my foal for a purchaser in Hampshire, and I don't think they were extortionate. I would think you'd find them in yell.com, and if he is likely to be at all difficult to load or travel, ask for Dave as driver. He used to be travelling head lad and has been around horses for about 300 years!! Knows his stuff aand sees problems for the horse in advance.

Hi Kirsty, when Khan (my new loan horse) came up to Scotland from Lincolnshire last month, he came with Peanut Equestrian - I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lovely ladies, all BHS qualified and a brand new 3-horse box. He was lovingly looked after and they couldn't do enough for him. They told me he would come of their box as good as he went on - and he did! He had not travelled much before and he was totally chilled about the whole thing. I don't know if it's OK with the Mods to put a phone number on here but they advertise in H&H or you can PM me for their number.

Hi Sarah - don't panic I've sold Skippy not Fern - if you want to see her she is hopefully going May 27th as the lady runs a B&B and nursery shool and wants a week off with her at half term. Just DON'T TELL YOUR MUM! she'll crucify me! I havn't found another job and I can't afford to keep them all so she had to go Why don't you bring Cally to mine - think of all the money you'd save - you could come and ride once a week........... ;D I'll come and see you very soon - give me a ring and we'll arrange it. I've still got your christmas pressie I know it's my fault as i havn't been working but all the stuff I've been up to I can't believe I ever had time to work! Take care and give Rhys and Cally hugs from me x
