Whoopee OH has said that he'll help me pay for a confidence giving happy hacker in 2006 until I start work in the autumn (I also love doing gentle schooling work - well playing really but I am good at remedial work on horses with physical problems - my last horse was a quiet poor thing until I got him and got him off the leg, back to a snaffle, up 3 saddle sizes and too sharp for me!). I'm not in the market just yet as there isn't a space at the local yard where I want to go to but I do have first refusal. I'll be looking for a bomb proof (must be guys as I can't afford any more setbacks)) horse/pony - any age but not too big (I'm 5'3" nearly and quite small in build). I live down in Sussex but will travel if necessary - just wondered if anyone knows of anything coming up in the next few months but if not keep a note of me just in case - ta. x

Hi, try the Blue Cross at Northiam. Its worth filling in a borrowers form even if they have nothing suitable straight away as obviously new horses are always coming in. They have more horses than are shown on the website and are very friendly and helpful as they really want to loan their horses out to decent homes. They do get horses that would suit a happy hacking home.

Have you thought about placing a post under the 'Wanted and Looking For' section of this site. May also be worth looking through the 'Equines for Loan' section as well ? Just a thought. Good luck !
