RJ - sorry, but I've got my heart set on leather because I want something to match my saddle. Will have a look at the website you suggested though. Indigo - I did think of a dragon, but probably a bit too intricate to fit on to a browband? Bored at work today, so still trawling through various websites looking ............... (Why do we still have these Santas? I want the other smilies back please.) Have you thought of getting the bridle to match your saddlecloth? I like the earth horse ones too and ONE day when I'm riding Malaga and he's a good boy I'd like to get him one. Mule Society colours are red and green, his saddle (the you are a goodboy now so you can wear the best one, saddle)is green so I have a choice ;D I guess we'll have to wait for the twelth day of Christmas for the old smilies back

Nope, Fussy Mare, but I do have a home bred Highland on loan to some very good friends there, whose companion is a little black Shetland mare!

[/quote]Have you thought of getting the bridle to match your saddlecloth?/quote] No - I have a treeless saddle in havanna, and my saddle pad is brown too. Bit uninspiring! Am really tempted by the bridles though. Ah Heather, I was getting confused - I was at the same yard as Ian & Marina for 4 years, but just moved next door a few months back - my mare is petrified of the Shetland.

Ah, Magnus is lovely. He always behaves perfectly when we encounter them out hacking - but Cariad really doesn't want to pass by Ella - particularly when she has the saddle chariot behind her.

Lovely photo jinglejoys. Ah well, Cariad is so good in all other ways that I can cope with her being a wuss!

Thanks tuppence. I like the Celtic knots, but am not sure how easy it would be to carve this design on a browband as it is quite intricate, and the browband isn't very big. I am going to speak to the lady who is making the bridle for me later today, and will ask her opinion. Still can't decide - I am so indecisive!
