A friend has told me about some neoprene sleeve thingies that you can get to put over your stirrup leathers to keep them together ; I think the idea was to stop them from being bulky under the leg or rubbing, but given my latest obsession with the enclosed stirrup rings on my bf chyenne (buffalo hide stirrup leathers getting caught on something and anchoring him to a gate, tree etc) I thought they would be a good idea, just don't know what they would be called so can't google or do an ebay search !

i use them. i find them good. mine are neoprene. i think they were from Raddery Saddlery, and endurance stuff supplier. If you go to EGB website and click on the adverts youl probably find some shops which sell them.
