My boss and his wife have been searching for a new horse since July 2007 and eventually last week thought they'd found the right one but to make sure have him on a 2week trial...anyway on Friday they told me they were getting a 'horse median' to come and 'read' him, I'm quite sceptical about things like that but thought it would be quite interesting so yesterday - on my day off might i add - went to listen to what this 'reader' had to say.
He said the horse has weak stifles due to a lot of showjumping at a young age and a weakness in his near fore knee as well, which in the next 6 weeks would make him lame! My boss wants to use him for hunting and asked what he'd be like at a hunt (he took the horse hunting on Saturday but didnt tell the median this...) The median said this horse was quite flighty and a worrier and would get worse the more hunting it did. He was almost spot on with that, when the horse had been hunting on Saturday, he was on his toes, leaping, jogging and then didnt touch his feed that night or the next morning due to fretting over it.
Now my boss is on about ending the trial early and sending him back as believes everyword of what this median says.... I found him very interesting, even thinking I might get him to come and look at my own horses.
Has anyone else any experience of one?

No comment as I am sceptical about such things but I do believe that a GOOD experienced horseman/woman could have told him the same things by observing and examining the horse.
