My mum has a friend that does people portraits and she asked her to do me a portrait of schooner - it was the first time she'd ever drawn a horse and look how it turned out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it - she's so talented and I want some more done with both my boys - I've sent it off to the framers and can't wait for it to come back - I was having a look at her website and I noticed she'd added Schoon's pic to her site!!! ebbieart.tripod.com/Drawings/Index.htm

it's well worth the money to have such a nice keepsake - I'm definitely going to have another done with both my boys on it - just need to get organised and get two really nice pics of them. Somthing else I want done is having a picture put on acrylic - have you seen these they are amazing - we went to have a look at one in a Photography shop and they look fantastic once they are mounted - although a certain supermarket do them much much cheaper than the phototagraphy shop - look: www.asda-photo.co.uk/wpp/asda/buygifts_tour.jsp?type=ACRYLIC

yeah I've also got a lovely painting of ben done by one of our lovely DGers that I treasure - they are so personal and it's lovely when the artist really captures them!
