As title really.
Just looking at Pierre's breed papers and his sire and his sire's ancestors all have ox after their names. I've always thought this mean Arab x Thoroughbred but now I'm starting to wonder whether it mean pure Arab.
Does anyone know?
Thanks!

I have been bringing up old stud registrations but can't see OX on any of them. Anne-----would you like to copy your Pierre's breed pps and pm them to me and I'll try and explain if I can.

Well I have been surfing the internet for about the last 2 or 3 hours and ox definitely means pure Arab. xx means Throroughbred. Not sure if there are any others, those were the only two I found. But what is really exciting is that I have actually found lots of Pierre's ancestors on the net! I had no idea he was so well bred! He has some quite famous stallions in his ancestry such as "Pomeranets", "Priboj" and "Aswan" and I have been able to find pictures of them all. This is so exciting!!
