Who uses them which brands have you found to be the best why did you start with it and do you think it has done any good?

i use cal-mag,frank wright) from agri merchant, started using it because my neds are barefoot, it help to stregthen there feet and keep the horn tight, and i belive it act like a calmer, but i havnt noticed it in mine there all pretty calm anway,

I use mag ox - more easily eaten and digested
It will only act as a calmer if they are tense due to a deficiency

I started feeding it as a calmer but didn't notice any difference. Have kept on feeding it as it does seem to have made significant improvements in the quality of Cali's horn growth.

I have used calmag but my trimmer got hold of a big sack of the mag oxide which is like flower so I am feeding that now. The calmag is fine if your horse will eat it as it's like grit and it's alot cheaper than the oxide.
