gr8 love mine, lovely and soft harness and a vcery good fit around the ociputle(sp) bone of the scull, aka your thick part of your head

I went to be fitted for a hat with one thing in mind, and came away with something completely different, but safe in the knowledge that it was a very good fit. Unless you have a very standard shaped head, you may find that it is a case of getting a hat which suits your head.

as long as it fits your head comfortably, has the kite mark on it.. you should be safe should you fall on your head...after which a new hat will be needed!

I have a Charles Owen - they fit my particularly small oval head! Packed full of brains though:-)

Depends on your head, as everyone else has said! I have champion skull cap for everyday use and have just ordered myself a Charles Owen Showjumper XP for best. Fits like a glove. Was pretty surprised about this as the Charles Owen skull caps are too round for my head, but the Xp is ok. Also tried a Toggi one but that just didn't fit at all

Depends what you want it for really. I have a showjumper2000 for posh (needless to say it doesn't get out much).
A Champion Universal for lessons (its a bit like a cycling helmet with lots of ventilation for my sweaty head when my instructor tortures me).
And a Harry Hall Elite that OH gave me for crimbo, which is ever so comfy (for hacking).

IO too have the charles ownen showjumper and love it for shows. I have a champion jockey skull for XC and have also got a JTE for everyday. I HATE my jte, it slips over my eyes and I can't see where I'm going! i can't jump in it! I tried a GPA also and had the smae problem with this, I have found that both of these hats are suited more to people with round heads.
