Why don't you Trial one Gilly, its the only way you'll know if it's for you or not. The other reason i wanted the Cheyenne is because i have loads of Dressage saddles & only one GP saddle which i love dearly, But cant use on Murphy so like you i was using my Dressage saddle to jump in. The pommel on the Cheyenne is quite high so i dont think theres much differance between my dressage saddle and the Cheyenne pommel, i havnt jumped in it yet but will let you know when i do!! Have no problems riding in it at all the only difference is theres no knee rolls, i don't depend on knee rolls so I'm fine with it. If you want more security then the London is maybe the better as it has the knee rolls. The only other thing is I'm finding is that the Cheyenne is quite wide but, apparently the Heather Moffett hip saver can help that so i might invest in one to give me a narrower twist think the London would be the same. Hope that helps your decisions.
