Hiya all...I used to post under the name Jo(Bertie & Dan) but i couldn't use that one on here cause it won't let me use any ('s or &'s in the login name....pants. So I'm using the name i use on other sites. Anyhoo, if anyone remembers me I'm Jo with the flying Shettie and a slightly mad TB Took this one today as I arrived at the field.

Lol...I mean mad in the nicest possible way...actually the way he has been behaving this week he is anything but mad. He has been following me round the field with his head on my shoulder (licking my neck...which is a bit gross!) and has behaved impeccably in the school....to the point that I was sure someone had drugge him, or swapped him or something! Here's the links to my photobucket albums...I have made them all public now so you should be able to see them! I upload all my pics of him on to here...along with a lot of others, so feel free to browse and save any you like photobucket.com/albums/a370/Horses7/?action=options photobucket.com/albums/a243/JoBlood/photobucket.com/albums/a243/JoBlood/30%20July/

They are...the little git lost a front shoe yesterday....8 days after he had been shod! Am less than impressed! Luckily one of the liveries had these boots that her horse didn't take to, she let me use them and offered to sell them to me...I'm buying them as his feet are so crumbly that he's likely to lose a lot of shoes (I think i remember you telling me he did when i came to see him) Surprisingly he has taken to them instantly and didn't mess about at all...which for Dan is a huge thing! I prepared myself for all sorts of trouble with them, and he never batted an eyelid! They are expensive though, but he thinks he's cool coz no one else on the yard has any

He lost his back ones a while ago and I tried to leave him without to see how he would cope...his feet are like blocks of cheese and they just disintegrated within days...I'm still regretting it as there are still huge chunks missing...the one he has lost this time is a front shoe, on the hoof with the worst crack in it, so I'm really worried about it splitting badly etc. Luckily the farrier is out to another horse on Tuesday so he can put another one on....I'm also not impressed that he really has LOST the shoe...can't find it anywhere. *sigh* I never did want to be rich!! lol
I'm very impressed with the boots though, very sturdy. The only problem is, when I take him in the sand school the get full of the sand! I can tip half a beach out of them after I've ridden!

He probs won't he's a really good farrier, and very fair....at the most he might charge me for the shoe, but not the fitting.
I know HOW he lost it...it rained the other night and he was loonying about in the field like an idiot.
