My very special boy.
Sorry it has taken me a few days to write this but your passing over Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday has devastated me.
You are and will always be in my heart. I cannot believe you have gone.
Our time together has been short lived and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting you is so sad that they'll never see you again.
I have been trying my best to care for Harry - he too misses you like crazy, I can see it in his eyes. I don't know how long it will take him to get over it, he too will never forget you.
You were such a lovely lad, a great listener, a friend who was always willing to gallop to the gate or whinny over the stable door at the sound of my car coming up the track.
You put a smile on everyones face, and always managed to cheer me up when I'd had the most horrid of days.
I cannot believe you have gone, I cannot believe that no matter how hard I try, I cannot bring you back.
I know your at peace now, and are free from pain - my brave, brave boy. Even up to the very end, you took your medication and jabs like a true star patient - Max (the Vet) was so impressed with you too.
Making that call was the hardest decision of my life - one I would never want to make again. It wouldn't had been half as bad if you were an old boy, but you were snatched away from me too soon.
I'll miss our plods around the lanes, swimming in the sea and watching you sleep whilst I cleaned you up - you always managed to find the muddiest part of the field !
I cut off your forelock to keep by my side - I hope you don't mind too much - I did tell Shawn to make sure you didn't look silly. I was one of the first things that drew me to you when we first met and I want to keep that memory with me forever.
Rest in peace my little man - please remember I love you. A gaping hole has been left in my heart - a hole that will never be filled.
Thank you for the wonderful times, and for pulling me through the bad one too. Thank you for letting me be your mum x x
Will post your picture, as i'm sure everyone will agree - you were such a handsome lad x x
