I have been upset today as it is Sinbad's anniversary. I find it helpful to express my feelings as rhyme and so I have sat and written this poem for you. Sinbad. I woke this morning, And you weren't there. My heart, it sank, Life isn't fair I closed my eyes and tried to pray; to have you back for one more day. To pat your head, To hold your paw, To stop this heartache, It feels so raw. To hear you bark, To see you run, But I know, deep down; It can't be done. Sinbad, my babes, It's hard, I know To admit it was time; you had to go. When I left that room, we were both a state. I regret telling you to stay, to wait. I wish I could have picked you up, And run right through the door. Somehow turned back the clocks, so your pain, it was no more. But as I rode out today, I felt that you were near. It makes it easier for us, to know that you are here. Cos although your body may be gone, In our hearts, you'll always stay, And I know that we will meet again At Rainbow Bridge, one day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

if his ashes were to be scattered anywhere, it would be down here on the plains, where he loved to run free xxx
