My lovely black and white 3 year old dutch bunny Badger passed away in the night. He had been poorly with the snuffles and seemed to be getting better following antibiotic treatment. The vet had felt a lump in his abdomen on his last checkup but wasn't really sure what it was (mentioned several possibilities). He was due to go for another checkup today to see if it had changed and to decide what to do next!
He seemed happy and was eating well when I checked last night but had gone when I checked this morning. His mate Berry was still sat by his side.
Badger I hope your short life was a happy one. Please find Tosca and Polly and tell them I still think of them all the time and I will meet you all there sometime.

Hi Paula, no, that was his girlfriend Berry, who is now sad and lonely without him. she sat by him until I moved him, which made me more sad! Have been out and bought a stone garden rabbit ornament to go over his grave!
Probably the hardest part is that I bought Badger when I was grieving for Tosca (1st pony), so its brought all those sad memories flooding back aswell! most women comfort shop and buy shoes or handbags, I get animals!
Thanks for your thoughts everyone
