Hi
Yesterday morning when I was at the field feeding my horse Max I got a phone call from my husband to say that someone had knocked at the door to say that they had found our cat dead on the road.
She was only 4 years old and we have only been living here for 12 weeks, we moved here for a quieter life and thought that she would be safer than being in the town.
I feel lost now without her and I am sure I have caught glimpses of her this morning sat in the utility room and have heard her bell on her collar.
I hope that she has found peace in Rainbow bridge and that one day we will be together again.
Love you Frazzle.
Carol

Oh Carol, how sad for you! I know how you feel and when we were moving house I kept getting glimpses of our cat that had passed over. It's your chance to say goodbye and love you, but also she's letting you know that she is still with you. Bless you both.

So sad for you, I know how you are feeling. We moved to the country to a very quiet area where I thought it would be paradise for our cat. It was while it lasted, but he was quite old and couldn't move very fast and I came home one day to find him lying on the verge, where someone had run him over and placed him there. I was heartbroken as we'd had him for 12 years and he was always there somewhere in the background. I miss him very much.

Our cat was run over by a car, luckily the driver stopped and told us and we were able to find her under my car in the drive. We held her in our arms as she died which really helped - it would have been horrible not knowing what had happened. This was our timid cat as well who never went anywhere except on this occasion. Hugs to youx

Thank you all for your kind words and messages, they have really helped me deal with this.
I miss her so much, the house doesn't seem the same. The neighbours have a male cat that looks just like her, he misses her too as he has been out looking for her. It certainly makes your heart jump when you see him.
Anyway thanks again
Carol

I do feel for you Carol. We lost our first cat, a beautiful two year old tabby , on a quiet road near our house. Someone had laid him by the roadside. Not a mark on him. It was devastating and like you, I kept thinking I saw him out of the corner of my eye for months afterwards. Take care. One day there will be room for another. Annx

So many people have said to me, oh so and so has some kittens do you want one, but I couldn't bear to go through this again, I love animals but what if the same thing happened again, I would feel even worse.
I know we could keep a cat as a house cat but with being at work it wouldn't be fair, Frazzle went out and played with the neighbours cat everyday when I was at work, though she had a catflap as well.
Welling up again
Carol
