Thanks for all your kind words. He was truly a very special horse with talent and the most generous nature to everyone he met. Unfortunately the vets were totally stumped at what was wrong with him and he was so lame everywhere in the end it was kinder to put him to sleep rather than watch him struggle as he had over the past 4 months ~ and he was losing the will to carry on I think. He went quickly at the hunt kennels, plaited and thinking he was at a show ~ which he loved doing.
RIP special boy you will not be forgotten.

So sad, what a gorgeous boy. Its such a shame when they end up going so young, and with such a bright future ahead. RIP Ronaldo.

Hi Lyn, I bought Tully from you 2 years ago. Just wanted to say sorry for your loss. He looked like a magnificent horse.

Hi
Hope Tully is good ~ he's done so very well hasn't he. He's a lovely horse as well. I think Ronaldo was here when Tully was, in fact was stabled next to Tully.
Ronaldo touched all our hearts because of his talent and such a generous nature. It was a very tough decision to put a horse down that the vets hadn't diagnosed but I stand 100% by the decision that it was right. The girls had got him all ready to go to a show, plaited, bathed and looked a million dollars and it was such a shock when I unloaded him the other end to see him like that and I bawled my eyes out all over the huntsman! Felt very embarrassed afterwards. He went looking so proud and I will remember him looking proud and alert rather than in pain and hobbling.
