Do you know, I was just thinking this myself when i pulled the girth covers off to wash them, my little boy is moulting a little of his long shagpile!

Mine's not moulting yet, but he's really itchy. Has a really good scratch when I take his rug off.
A couple of others at the yard are moulting, one piebald cob is leaving piles of white hair everywhere, lol.
