Can you be too sensitive towards your horse?
Spring had herself tangled in the fencing this morning, and because she was caught she was panicking. And because I couldn't calm her enough to help, I was panicking.
She's ok now, we eventually got her free of it, but it got me thinking - am I too sensitive to her? Did I get overly panicky about it??

Hi Beth, its not a bad thing to be sensitive to your horses feelings, too many people see their horses as just bikes, something to ride.
when your sensitive, you can feel what they are saying.
so its not bad to be sensitive, but if you can be more confident in yourself your feel less panicky, its self doubt in yourself.
I am very sensitive but I am better with confidence now with them ,so they see me as in control of the situation as they stress, they know I will sort it out.
I didn't use to be like that, they get stuck, and panic,I would panic, they would panic more.
its all about confidence, and having more confidence in yourself beth. but its not bad to be sensitive!!!
