My daughters pony is terrible for seperation anxiety, esp with my mare, im at a yard just me and a friend so there's 3 horses in total but even if I ride out and the pony is in the field with the other horse he still runs about calling and he's even tried rearing over the gate to get out, if I leave him in and take my mare away he will rear up over the stable door and has even jumped out the stable before, its worrying every time I go out and its even stooped me from riding , he's on a daily calmer but it doesn't seem to be helping, any ideas please?? I'm at a complete loss

I have had a bit of that with my two little lins, ellas a bit like that with sunshine, because they have always been together here with me. what I done,I broke it down-step by step,I took sunshine but where ella she could still see her,not too far away, gave ella hay to munch on to keep her busy too.
a bit futher and she could still see her,she got use to me doing this, and started to feel comfortable with this, then futher, and out of sight for a second, then worked up to two seconds, then 3 seconds and worked up like that. ella got so use to this. this become normal in the end don't rush it but this worked for me
I have had this also when zulu died and ollie was left on his own,we then got charm for ollie but then I lost ollie unexpected, and had this with charm being without ollie, this is when the above work helps a bit.because you never know
