Hi, i am looking for some advice about my welsh section D mare. She is 20yrs old and knows knows that she is strong but hasn't got a bad bone in her body. Her only big problem is that she has panic attacks in the trailer. When we first got her, 5yrs ago, she was a problem loader but we got her over that with help from a local horse trainer who focus's on Preilli Horsemanship. However, after 6 months of owning her she began to have panic attacks in the trailer. Basically its like she just loses her balance and her back legs start scrambling around. She has injured herself doing this and she was almost put down but she recovered. We have figured out that she panics due to the trailer rocking but we have no idea how to solve this. She will stand in the trailer for a few minuets but she isn't happy. Has anyone got any advice?
