So I recently had my saddle flocking adjusted, all appears to fit well now and the horse is going well and is not sore!
So why is it when I go to get off he chucks his head up in the air? As soon as I take my feet out of the stirrups he does this knowing I'll be getting off and then he tenses up as I'm dismounting. He doesn't show any signs of discomfort otherwise, stands well to be mounted, no bucking, no refusing to go forwards or anything like that so this is a little strange. No reaction when I'm mounting and he doesn't do it in the bareback pad so I'm a bit at a loss
any ideas anybody?

No suggestions I'm afraid, but can you get someone to video from the side & from behind as you dismount? You might be able to see if something odd is happening in terms of saddle movement / pressure and what he's doing just before?

I wonder if it is pinching him at the withers when you lean forward to dismount?
A video sounds likea very good idea

Yes this is what I'm thinking as I know the saddler did put extra flocking at the front.
I'll video and take it from there

So videos taken and surprise surprise he didn't move an inch when filming, typical.
But, I think the saddle is a little too wide and tipping forward then when I go to get off. More adjustments on the way - for now I am going to shim for a few weeks to see if it definitely is that and take it from there
