I'm taking 2 horses to a show next week, both young at 4 and 5yrs. I've had the 4 yr old for two months and this will be her first show. I've only ever taken one horse before so any suggestions on how to keep the one not in the show ring sane and not kicking the hell out of the horsebox. Thank you

Practise a little at home, both on horsebox, take one away and bring back and then the other one and see what happens then you can come up with a plan. Practise taking them on and off and work out which you will need to take off the box first so they are stacked correctly lol Sometimes they don't like another one leaving and being left on their own but if you take both out of the box together, go for a wander and then take one back they settle easier, sometimes they don't mind either way - you just have to try and see what works for you. Be ready for the possibility that they will spend the entire day whinnying to each other across the show ground, that's quite normal at first Good luck
