Since an update was requested, here are a few pics of my gorgeous boys These were taken last week in the gloaming, so not great! Jossy Excuse the mud, he loves winter! Jos has just been amazing this last year, and all thoughts of maybe having to retire him have gone! He has loved everything we've done. Two years of schooling are paying off, in that now we can hack out in a snaffle. We have also managed a short hack bitless, and this is something I'm keen to continue working on with him. The ones of Arion are not great, but he is growing well. He will be two in April. He is moving onto big boy livery for a couple of months next year so that I can do some work with him and prepare him for going showing next year. He is such a sweet and loving little guy! He will be living next door to his big brother Jossy, and going out with him each day so they can learn to love eachother. I would like to do a pairs in hand class next year I am so blessed to have two wonderful golden boys to share my life with.

They are lovely pics Mellymoo, and glad Jos is still doing so well. How old is he now? Arion is just gorgeous!
I must say though that Jos looks very clean to me - that's only token mud!
Bambi's breeder contacted me out of the blue and sent me some pics of her as a foal with her Fjord mum, I must post them when I've worked out how to convert them from the pdf files she sent me. They are unbelievably cute.

Lovely photos, Mellymoo. Jos is looking magnificent, and Arion is the spitting image of him. Be great to see more of Arion when you have time to take some photos of him. Lovely to hear that you've been out and about with him and really enjoying it.
I used to ride a dun (buckskin) pony as a teenager. He was only 13.1hh, but he had the same ample crest. I'll post a photo of him when I find one. I always thought he looked like an Icelandic pony, I'm wondering now if he was a Fjord.
