They are absolutely beautiful, are they related? If Sunny is anything to go by then Frankie has a very exciting future. They must give you a great deal of pleasure just looking at the pictures and knowing you bred them. Good luck to Sunny on his Hoys ticket. Ps you asked how big mine is, he's just short of 17 hands so dont think he'd be overly small in a hunter class.

Thanks Wizzy, my word is he really that big !!! He will make a very exciting Hunter prospect in that case. I'll look forward to seeing him in the ring, he is just gorgeous. Sunny and Frankie are both out of my TB mare Derwent Mayerling ( Darcy ) but Sunny, a 15hh small Hack is by Dolphin Superstar and Frankie 15.2 hh at the moment, will be a large hack and is by Walton Hi Flyer who was by Kilvington Scoundrel. He apparently was very good to back and is a real gentleman, but he will not be rushed, just as Sunny hasn't been.

I lovely to hear about their progress, and they look absolutely stunning, the product of years of love, care and experience. I can't begin to imagine the amount of care and work that goes into producing a show champion. Having brought up a number of pairs of NF foals to be all-rounders, I can appreciate that the worry involved in bringing up potential champions must be enormous. Whilst you want the foals to be with others of their own age, and to be able to play and grow up to be well balanced individuals, the slightest little knock or accident in the field could result in a careering stopping blemish, which on an all-rounder, pony club type pony would be of no significance.
Darcy's obviously mounting a take over of the show world! I look forward to hearing more about her progeny.

Just got back from Mid Herts County Show and Sunny won his class ( 15 forward ) qualified for HOYS and went Champion HOORAY !!!! Funny thing is, his Mother qualified at her first attempt, and went champion at this show too, many years ago.

Thank you all . The minute he was born I knew Sunny was special, just like his uncle Oliver who won HOYS at 4 , but Kafee, my foals and youngsters were not cosseted, they were brought up in safe fields and safe stables, but lived normal lives and beat each other up, galloped around and gave me daily heart attacks. All babies do that, and it doesn't matter what or who they are, they are all precious to their Mums Monty and Kelly came to see Sunny when he was a foal, so Monty must have told him he HAS to be a good boy now lol
