Actually, I think it is worse for men, at least we have 3 weeks in every 4 where we are capable of rational thought, our poor men are bombarded with testosterone without any break at all....

I feel your pain PB. I noticed a perceptible change in my mood swings about a year ago. I went to my GP and had my hormone levels checked. They were fine, but my GP suggested I was suffering from a form of extreme PMT. Her suggestions were evening primrose oil, maybe a low level dose of an anti-d for the week prior to my period, looking after my diet, getting exercise and just accepting it and not stressing about it - often that's half the battle. I rejected the EPO and drugs, opting for the diet and exercise option which hep A LOT!
