vimeo.com/33062665 - Whispering the Wild Taming the Untouched Horse in Namibia Liz P found this and brought it to my attention - available for you to watch as and when. We still sometimes show it on courses. Seems surreal watching it now - like it happened in a former life or 'through the wardrobe'. xx

I've watched this a few times over the years, but it still takes my breath away! Truly the ultimate test of your horsemanship skills - and resounding proof that IH methods not only work, but are so acceptable for the horse too. Top Marks Kelly Marks!

Everyone with a horse should be made to watch what you can do with a wild horse in four days. Then perhaps they'd realise that horses don't come with problems. Someone has to create them.

Hi Kelly, can't help wondering if you ever heard any more of Muddy Waters and Dust Devil from the lady who's boma you visited. Did either of them ever have their own herd, Muddy was clearly prepared to fight for it.

Kafee - Muddy and Dusty split and Telane wasn't able to tell me what happened to Dusty. However, a couple of years later there was a big drought in Namibia and a lot of horses died, but Muddy and his two mare and foals were seen doing very well and he had taken them to the lucerne fields. That's where I like to think of him now ...

Hi Kelly, thanks for the reply. I knew Muddy'd have his own herd, it was only a matter of time. What a shame Telane wasn't able to follow their progress any more. I wonder what they made of their brief time in captivity.
