As the title, has everyone been able to get enough food, water etc. on site and actually been able to get there?

Luckily mine are in walking distance so never a problem getting to them, i don't mind the snow at all apart from getting to work is a pain as the roads are useless round me. Kettle to defrost the tap, hot water from home for the pony that won't drink in this weather, plenty of forage and they are fine and dandy.
Car got out today fine despite my reservations last night as i curveballed into the kerb and left it there - LOL!

All the main roads are clear enough to get to and village is driveable with caution so everyone seems to be able to get to the yard, although YO has said that its a case of everyone help each other in the way of haynet filling etc, we have automatic water system for drinkking in the stables and thats still working, we can turn out in the schools and we can walk them down the drive (good mile down and back again) if anyone can't get there then everyone will rally round and sort horses anyway..........................feel sorry for those who have got loads of the white stuff, we seem to have escaped the worst of the predictions

Roads all clear here so got easily the lane up to the field is a bit icy but we took water and feeds the ponies are not drinking much though must be eating snow while they are digging for grass. My concern is that the feeds and forage only lasts them about 2 hours so it seems a long time in between feeding they are out 24/7 and fed once a day as they are too far away to go more often. They are digging for the grass though

There's a lot of snow in Norfolk and I do feel for thoses who have to try and get to yards and fields. Ours are in the back garden and I have an outside water tap, lights in fact it must be luxury. So take care all of you who have to travel.

If necessary we could walk to the yard, but usually another livery with a 4x4 takes us. We clear the troughs and hay the fields twice a day, plus feed ours. Get a bit fed up of other liveries assuming we will always do it, there is at least one other in walking distance, but there are people who don't get DIY means do it yourself!

We don't have any left thank goodness! But I have a 4x4 that laughs in the face of snow, East Devon council did a really great job of keeping the roads clear, and ample hay. So no probs really.

You have NO SNOW?? You are lucky, we got a fair bit last night. Roads are clear and we have plenty of forage in. The water supply is frozen, so I have brought some containers home to fill for tomorrow. The horses are all happy though ;D they enjoyed their porridge this morning, with warm water and veggie peelings! ;D ;D

Having huge problems with water supply in the field as pipes frozen solid underground at the water troughs. AM having to cart warm water from my bathroom upstairs to my Land-Rover in huge water containers so I can water my lot daily. I had a 4ft round hay bale put in on Tuesday and also left 4 huge shires haynets tied up in case they wouldn't share the round bale nicely, so there is always hay to eat somewhere. Have not had any problems with access, although lots of beughbor's cars refused to start this week and I've had to give them all a jump start with my Landy !

A cm or two on the tops of the hills and commons but that's it. The fields are all completely clear. We had a lovely ride out today - usual story of mud, and a sprinkling of snow at the top of Aylesbeare and Hawkerland commons but we have got off very lightly indeed!

Well I live on site but all our taps are frozen solid. With 14 on site at present this could be a real nightmare but I have a frost free standpipe and it has been an absolute saviour. We can attach a hose to it too. www.frostfreesolutions.co.uk. the best spent £139 for quiet some while! easy to install too!
