My friend gave me a pair of these for Christmas and I had to share how wonderful they are. They are the loveliest, warmest, softest socks I have ever had. They do a knee high length which is perfect for wellies. Wearing them is the first time my toes haven't started to feel cold after about an hour. I walked out in hand and they are soft and supportive like good walking socks. No rubbing or blisters. I can't believe I'm so excited about a pair of socks but if you haven't tried them you really must! They're too thick for wearing under riding boots though ( I tried but couldn't fasten the zip) which is the only downside but worth riding in wellies just to keep tootsies warm

I know the feeling, I bought some prior to the cold snap before Christmas and they are really great.

Sorry they're called heat holders, not heat huggers. I think I got confused because they give your feet a wee hug

I got 2 pairs of these (or very similar ones) for Christmas. It hasn't been cold enough to wear them yet! If winter ever arrives i will give them a go!

ive got a few pairs, but ive found when you wear them all day with wellies and work boots, the fluff pills and then they wear through

They are the BEST! I've been wearing them for two seasons, all day long walking in my wellies, and have toasty happy feet. My oldest pair is just starting to wear through, but considering the amount of hours I have worn them I think that's fair!

I got two pairs last winter, and they certainly are really warm and toasty, but mine started to wear out very quickly, and both pairs soon had holes in. I was disappointed, as they're quite expensive, but maybe I just have pointy toes!

I've had a number of pairs of these for quite a while and I completely agree with you. They are FAB! My feet are often cold, but never in these. I've got a few pairs of the shorter ones and a few pairs of the knee-length ones which are great under wellies or jods.
The soft fluffy lining does tend to ball up after a few washes but it hasn't seemed to affect their comfort and warmth.
Love them loads and highly recommend them.

My daughter and I got these socks for our riding holiday to austria just before christmas. Wore them with our Harry Hall snow boots in daytime temperatures of minus 15 and our feet were toasty warm!!

Just ordered a pair after reading all your comments, I can't wait to get them - hopefully before the cold snap ends!

I've used them for years and they are great, they do ball up after a while but as i always look for the bargains at the market, last paid £10 for 3 pairs for the long ones.
I'm lucky they do fit my muck boots and I can get those sexy long johns on with them as well and my Sallopets over the top two jumpers huffer puffer jacket, which is so knackered, all cosy than i start pushing the wheel barrow and off come the layers he hee ;D

Looking forward to my socks arriving - does everyone wear just the socks on their own or do you use them over the top of another pair or even 2

I just wear them on their own, they are quite bulky but lovely and warm.
