Raring to go for Show season.....6th April we hit the road again, going to be a loooooong year this year, quite looking forwards to the challenges each year presents. You might think it weird that after almost 30 years in the ring, I still get butterflies before my first show.

Good luck. I'm determined to take Sunny and Excaliber out to a show or two this year, even if we only do fun classes, I think it's an important part of their education. It seems to me that the sooner you start taking them to parties, the more 'normal' it is to them.

Good luck for the season! I am going to get the golden one out to more shows this year - fancy a go at Equifest, and got our first UK breed show. Also will do the local shows if weather allows.

I am just soo up for the challenge this year. It's going to be fun, my youngster has come on amazingly, her canter work is fantastic now, light in your hands, powerful, and such a huge stride, I'm looking forwards to seeing what judges say when they get on her. I hope she will carry on where my older mare left off, and be as successful.

Crystal has entered honourable retirement now...............the old girl is 27 this year and she deserves a back seat now, so she can still be hacked out and enjoy some well earned and deserved paddock time!
We still have Prince the lovely grey boy...............he isn't going anywhere now staying with us for a good while we hope, Inaya is growing her mane back so we should have that sorted come show start time, it was hogged on vets advice as the sweet itch was quite bad, but this time we can stamp on it before it starts, so she should be back in all her glory!
Then we have another one arriving this year Jackiedo's lovely lady Angel will be joining us and starting her showing career as well, so this year for Madmare is going to be somewhat of a busy one, but we will enjoy it all and see what it brings us.
