So we took the horses for a poddle, dad leading mum (he says he feels like Mr Brown from the film lol) and me leading Whin as my neck still isnt good. Armana kept heading for the lake such a water baby! Whinney looking like the porker she is Anyone else got any good pics from today??

Lovely pics! xx I didn't get any but finished work at 8 am this morning, went down to do the girls and it was so glorious that I spent an hour scraping the mud off Aunty Blaze and we had a lovely hack up and down the valley. Blaze really walked out and was looking around at the sodden countryside (she is the local Countryside Watch warden ;D ) and I was pleased that she didn't appear at all footy on the stone chippings, despite having been out in VERY muddy conditions for weeks. Happy New Year, by the way! ;D

OH and I were out in the sunshine for 2 hours but only road work as it is just too sodden on the fields. The wind was bitterly cold.

No pics as I was alone but Talin had a re-clip and some nice comments from other liveries who were amazed at how chilled out he was. Then went out for a lovely hack, up the drive (10 mins at a good fast walk of very rough stone road followed by tarmac) and on to our old stomping ground which is remarkably dry still for a good trot and canter then back again. On the way home Talin decided a BT van passing us very considerately combined with accidentally stepping into mud was too much to cope with and scooted off bronking but I stayed on and got him to calm down and then we sauntered back to the yard like nothing had happened

yeehah Daisy - so pleased for you! Thanks Wills - best I could manage with Whins lead between my legs and her eating like a tank as she thinks she's being starved
