I think Sabria and Reg both need a little more protein to build soft tissue/muscle, so I am planning to get them some of this to feed along with regular Speedybeet. Any preferences, which is best (best value, most readily eaten, best for adding condition)? I tried the chop versions with alfalfa but neither of them were keen on it. So, Fibrebeet. Alfabeet, or another version?

My mum has used Alfabeet with great success with 2 tb's she has owned. Can't remember the makers but it's in a red bag and is a reasonable price too.

I use the Dengie Alfalfa pellets which I soak adding as much as needed. My oldie (30 years) has 2 or 3 feeds of one stubbs scoop of baileys fibre cubes, half of alfalfa pellets and one mug of bailey's performance balancer all soaked and then mixed with a good handful of Dengie hi fibre non molasses chaff plus 50ml of linseed oil and looks great. He doesn't eat alot of hay or grass due to his teeth but does manage some.

I have been feeding 1.5 kgs per day of each of dry–weight Speedi–beet and Alfa A Oil to each of the two TBs who needed more weight on, it seems to have been successful.
Forgot to say that this is in addition to their ad lib haylage.
