I've just been to work with a nice big horse who has been running rings round inexperienced owners/breeders for many years. He accepted the groundwork I was doing fairly quickly, after having been left in a field for several weeksand then I discover he is half Lippi (x TB) - and looking for a loan or LWVTB home!! He should be a really nice horse in the right hands, after having gained a reputation as a fire breathing monster he allowed me to move his feet and do a little lunging in the field all within an hour. He really could do with a nice home and should be able to work well in the right hands - he is 10 years old BTW. He has been being "schooled" by a young male SJer for a year, so has a jump but he didn't find him easy, I guess he pushed the buttons too hard, knowing him. Treated nicely he seemed to me to be a really nice horse, if a teeny bit strong willed (where did that come from??). He is just up the road from here in Shropshire. Do you know anyone looking for a nice project but without the cash to buy?

Gazdag has the airs–above–the–ground hocks that others lack!

You can't see his hocks Catrin - he does a nice line in levade I'm told Apart from needing to suck some sort of dummy before he chose my arm as his item to mouth (dentist booked ), he was a perfect gentleman yesterday. Pulled away to go and join his pals once or twice but accepted being caught again with good grace, I like him. If I was 20 years younger...................
