0h wow! And I love the way he lets him graze at the end. I wish I could sit that still with a saddle and stirrups!

He is in fact a *she*. Her name is Alizee Froment.
She competes in conventional dressage to GP in France, and has other videos of her stallions schooling bitless. However, all the horses are competed in bridles and I believe that they are all produced conventionally (ie in bits) using French methods.
What we are seeing here is a horse working at the advanced level - a 'produced' horse. Indeed, *any* horse that is schooled to top level should be able to produce all the movements without the use of a bridle, as they will be in self-carriage and wonderfully balanced, responding to the lightest of aids.
It is a tribute to the correctness of Alizee's training that she can ride these horses with such lightness of expression. An example to us all.

My apologies! I was fooled by her amazingly long legs and super muscle tone.

it is a shame then that such light aids and balance etc should not be showcased bitless in order to truely demonstrate the proof of the training.

Thanks for posting Amanda it beautiful, don't know why but it made me cry. Suppose I am thinking about all those poor dressage horses with their heads hauled in who would literally fall on their noses if ridden this way!

I love the mule, but I'm inspired by the little girl on Puddles. If only all children learnt to ride like that! No saddle, no bridle, no whip and a lovely balanced independent seat. The video was nearly finished before I noticed she only had one hand - but of course if you can ride so naturally without a bridle, who needs hands?!
