The last time I rode was about August shortly after my cob had been broken, sadly they didnt do the best of jobs which caused him to have a few issues with riding, I sat two bolt/buck episodes and then gave him a month off and have been working on groundwork to fix the issues they had caused in him, hes been going brilliantly and I am very pleased with him and he is ready to move to the next step.
However, I keep putting it off as I feel sick to the stomach at the idea of having to sit all those bucks and bolts again. I have got my OH on board and he is going to have him on a longline so that I have help if for any reason he does have issue which does make me feel a bit better but I dont want to get on him shaking and currently I will be, I have sat on other horses and although nervous I manage to overcome it but because the bolts happened on this lad its ten times worse with him.
Any suggestions on how to calm myself down?

Have you sat on anything else since? If not, come and sit on my boy if you like?
If you want an extra pair of hands or whatever then just shout - not going Sunday now as I'm allergic to the cold lol!!
