Medium sized family yard with 16 horses involved in a variety of natural horsemanship styles of training. We are looking for someone, or several people, to come help out with a little bit of poo picking (there isn't a lot as we have a machine that takes out most of it, so it just has to be done next to the fences) and mucking out, grooming or tack cleaning etc etc general yard chores. We are willing to offer the chance to practise your Monty/Kelly skills on our well-handled horses, or go for a ride in exchange. We have fantastic facilities and are a friendly bunch so it's as much about attitude as anything. This isn't free labour and we don't expect something for nothing so we won't be slave drivers but please do come prepared to be quite physical as this is always the way with horses.
Based in Surrey & local pick up from surrounding train stations available or accom available if only overnight. Come for as many or as few days as you can commit to. Any help appreciated.

What part of Surrey? I know a lot of experienced horsey people in Surrey who for one reason or another don't have their own at the moment and would love to be involved with horses without having to commit to the same nr of hours on the same day of the week every week (which tends to be the case even when volunteering). Know quite a few ho wouldn't even want anything in exchange ! But would have to be easy access and not too far to travel for most of them.

Hi there, sorry to sound a job's worth but there is a no advertising policy on this board. Maybe you'd like to place an ad in the IH Classified for a small contribution to the IH charity fund - if so go to: classifieds.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk/Thanks!
