My 11 year old TB is being aggressive towards my daughters new pony. I am keeping them seperated at the moment, but long term I would like them to graze together & be able to lead out from him. They are able to see each other whilst turned out, but my TB has spent most of the day today charging at the fence towards the pony, ears back, pouring at the ground & flinging his legs around! We also have a little shetland mare who is usually with him, but when we had a livery in the past (another gelding) he acted the same way, and it was almost like he didn't want him getting near the mare, So this time, she has been moved into a seperate paddock next to them, but he is still being horrible! I would love to know if anyone has any solutions, I am hoping in time he will settle down & leave him alone, as i want to be able to lead my daughter out, without the risk of him kicking her or her pony!

I would post this on the horse help board haleybelly, I for one have only just seen this. Or perhaps the mods could move it for you.
Welcome.
