I have been struggling on and off with my confidence for ages. And a number of things have helped. However this one little peal I am about to share with you has been the easiest and the most effective of all. A friend of mine gave me a tip, when I explained how if something happened while I was riding I would get a massive adrenaline surge and then go to jelly. There I was thinking this was normal, but it seems it can be made better. Her advise was to massively cut down my caffeine intake. So over the last 5 weeks I have swapped every other cuppa for a decaff and now I only have a max of three cups a day. And wow that a difference it's made. I still get worried and nervous but it goes away much quicker and I know longer get jelly legs when I ride It might not help everyone but its working well for me at the moment. Who would have thought something so simple could help with riding wobbles.. Anyway just wanted to share in case it can help others.

I know exactly what you mean. I have cut out caffeine all together as it was making my anxiousness a lot worse. I am also sleeping a lot better too. I now notice how much of an affect caffeine has on me if I have a sneaky diet coke! They do say its like a drug
