We had a lovely time out, BUT things went a little pear shaped in the woods with an over enthusiastic pony trying to keep up (she hadn't been ridden since the 11th of December, so I'm on her side). Anyway, I offered the featherlight Flynn as he never pulls, and Faelen nabbed him. Many, many unkind remarks and inquiries regarding the size of my bottom going into the pony's saddle I can tell you, even the neighbour joined in. Ehem. Happy New Year everyone and I hope you have every good thing in the coming months. XX Kya. Up the hill from home. Messing around on the banks in the woods. Fal loves that. Pony was hammering after me, so we swapped out Shades of things to come... aged mother and thieving girl.

Well, three weeks off, she was wibbly today Catherine.... hence shaking things up by changing out horses. I tested the pony out, and she's actually a dear to ride, really responsive. You only have to drift your leg back and she moves laterally and her brakes are A1. Faelen's still weak and unconfident.... I need to slow down and let her nerve develop. She came home smiling. Actually, the hunts were all out today and I was feeling like a reject from the 'Real Rider's Club' so going out was good for us all.

I is only joking!! With her big cheesy grim on your horse it looks like it was a success!! And when she does out grow Bambi in 6 years time I hope you will have yourself a new horse!!! When she steals him! What a horse! No way I'd ever put Ciara on kody!!!

Lol, the silly fellow. Actually, I was taking a bit too much for granted really but we had a foot soldier throughout and he's right behind Faelen in that picture of her on Flynn on the track. Flynn goes all soft and gooey with Faelen- the horse is really a big dog. The joy of him is he doesn't alter without work, not like these ponies! He adores us all going out in a gang. He loved it. ;D
