Can anyone please help I need a good dressage instructor, that thinks outside the box.
Tich really has got us banging our heads on the ground, after a fantastic summer of coming on in leaps and bounds, he is now refusing to even trot one side of the school without showing how athletic he is. Have had every check done possible and a full lameness workout today with vet showing nothing. His fear seems to be his mouth and its no good having an instructor that says get on with it, ride him through it he can carry on for hours like it. I need someone with real experience and expertise that can pull the rider to bits and put it back together again.
We are between Peterborough and Wisbech.

you could try Tracy Wyatt - www.wholistichorse.co.uk/index.htmlshe comes and does bodywork on Amber, i have seen a demo of her teaching the grey pony on the website and she has years of experience.

That's really interesting - my mare was amazing all summer and in the last few weeks has turned into a scary-to-ride, spooking, bronking loon. The last session in the school resulted in me getting off after less than 2 minutes and lunging instead as she felt like she was going to explode.
I'm having a behavioural instructor out tomorrow, the saddle checked on Tuesday and have a lesson booked with a sympathetic, very competent riding instructor next Saturday. Am really hoping between the three of them we can figure out what's going on - I want my nice horse back!

How about an EET? I've only had one lesson due to it being Christmas, but found my local EET very helpful and sympathetic to Talin's needs.

I'm really envious that you are local to Sam Jamieson. I sent my horse to her for 8 weeks training and also had some lessons on him while he was there. She is excellent and I only wish I was nearer so I could have some more lessons.

Thank you all, sadly Sam is full until the spring, I will get on to the others on the list, he is such a sensitive soul and there has to be a solution to his stressing. He gets in a tiz if his girth is one whole too tight, noseband or throat last, if one of his hairs are the wrong way under his saddle.
